Donations

 

Every child needs guidance and love. Your donation makes it possible for a child in Dayton to access that free of charge. Between all our programs, a student will be picked up and brought to KIND 180 times per year, fed 180 hot meals, take home 350 pounds of food, receive 290 hours of instruction, experience 110 hours of active movement and play, go on 10 field trips, and attend 15 special events.

Supplies Needed

​

Thank you for giving the supplies that keep KIND going! Please see the lists below of items that would benefit the KIND program.  Contact Laura Helsby at lhelsby@kinddayton.org to coordinate a dropoff or shipment. ​

Prizes

We use Class Dojo to recognize the kids for great attendance, behavior, and performance.  The points can then be used to buy great prizes from the KIND Store!

 

  • Individually packed candy (Starbursts, Mini Snickers, Jolly Ranchers, Life Savers, Smarties, etc.)

  • Bags of candy 

  • Takis 

  • Doritos 

  • Lays classic potato chips 

  • Cheetos crunch 

  • Microwavable popcorn

  • Freeze popsicles (re-freezable in plastic sleeves)

  • Nail polish

  • Slime cups (2 to 3 ounces)

  • Basketballs (youth or intermediate size)

Snacks

The kids often arrive to KIND hungry and need something nutritious to tide them over so they can focus and get the most out of their time before dinner. We need items to be shelf-stable, individually wrapped, and minimal sugar added.

  • Fruit snacks (real fruit)

Cleaning & Hygiene Items

It takes a lot of time and supplies to keep KIND sanitary for the kids, especially during COVID-19.
